Multi-Gyms

When buying a multi-gym space is very important as they can be very large so you need to make sure that you have space for it before you buy. They also require home assembly and come in many parts so you have to be able to assemble the multi-gym, this is quite easy though as they have detailed instructions. You may also have to order spare parts through-out the life of the multi-gym as sometimes parts can wear out, this is especially true of the cables as these can wear out and snap over time.

When using the multi-gym it is best to start on a light weight and build up, it also helps to count how many repetitions you do so that you can keep track of how you are doing. You can work out a nice routine for yourself of the different weight lifting exercises that you wish to do and you should think of this as a set, this can include 10-20 lifts of each weight lifting exercise and you can then count how many sets you do in your work-out and try to improve on this over time. You can also improve by gradually increasing the weight that you are lifting but be careful with this, if you go too far you could injure yourself so make sure you are comfortable with the weights you are lifting.

Rest is also very important with weight lifting so you need to make sure that you are giving your muscles enough rest if you are using a multi-gym, it is good advice to have a day off after every weight lifting session using a multi-gym as this will allow your body enough time to recover and it is this recovery that makes your muscles stronger.
